If you're using Windows and you've installed a HP driver, VueScan's built-in drivers won't conflict with this. I am using Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10 and hp scanjet 3770 does not detect in ubuntu 10.04,even tried with xsane and simple scan but it doesnot detect.
